How to Spot a Spinning Return - Pickleball Quick Tip with Matt Wright

Have you ever played an opponent who sent every return back to you with some crazy spin? Those spinning returns can really mess with your 3rd shot drop. So how do you know if your opponent is sending you a ball with a lot of spin?

In this pickleball quick tip, pickleball pro Matt Wright shows us how to read an opponent's return shot to know if it will have heavy spin or not. This is an important skill to have because a spinny return is more difficult to drop than a normal hit. Being able to read your opponent's movements will give you the time to adjust your play and set yourself up to safely approach the net.

Do you have a tip that you think should be made into a video? Let us know if the comments below.
