Watch the New Jersey 5s take on the Chicago Slice on Day 3 of Group Play at MLP New York, live from SPORTIME Randall's Island. The 5s kept their perfect group-play record alive with the win, extending Chicago's rough weekend as the Slice finished 0-4 in Group A with a lopsided point differential. New Jersey would go on to finish first in Group A on tiebreakers over the Texas Ranchers and later capture the MLP New York title — their third straight event win of the 2026 season.
Chicago leaned on youth this event, fielding 13-year-old Elsie Hendershot and 18-year-old singles specialist John Lucian Goins alongside veterans Zane Navratil and the rest of the Slice roster, while New Jersey's stacked lineup of Anna Leigh Waters, Jorja Johnson, Will Howells, Noe Khlif, Martin Emmrich, and Lina Padegimaite continued to roll.
