The New Jersey 5s have unfinished business. Columbus beat them in the 2025 MLP Finals. Columbus beat them again in Dallas just last week. Now — on Day 3 of group play — both teams walk in undefeated and the Sliders are playing in front of the loudest home crowd in pickleball.

The defending champions. Their building. Their fans. Their moment.

Anna Leigh Waters and Jorja Johnson versus Parris Todd and Danni-Elle Townsend. Noe Khlif and Will Howells against Andrei Daescu and CJ Klinger. Pool A's top seed is on the line, and the 5s know exactly what's at stake.
