You want to be better? But how bad do you want it? Certainly you will get better if you play a lot of pickleball.

You will notice things and realize that if you do "this" instead of "that" it works out better for you. Also your strokes will get better. Even if your technique is bad, you will get more proficient at hitting it with bad technique.

Certainly there's a ceiling to how good you can get by hitting shots with poor from but as is true for just about anything, the more you do it the better you will get.

BUT, there are certainly ways to get better faster and playing games just isn't going to get you there.

AND, you will avoid your weak shots because you don't want to lose the point.

Your weakness will stay weak.

In order to improve, you need to isolate the areas of your game needing improvement and work on them with drills that are focused on improving that skill.

This is the way to go. Certainly continue to play games as well but you neglect drilling at your own peril.

In this video, Jordan covers how he splits his time with a limited schedule.
