I can't tell you how many times I've looked at someone hit a forehand and I unintentionally cringed a little on the inside. Specifically, it's their contact point on the forehand that scares me.
Don't get me wrong, I don't mean to put anyone down. It's not about that at all. The truth is that I'm scared for them because of what it could lead to beyond simply losing points & games. It's a much bigger problem than that.
Having a poor forehand contact certainly leads to an inconsistent and unstable forehand. Also, it's way less powerful than it could. It will certainly hold you back on the court.
Yet, that's not what scares me.
Tennis elbow is what scares me.
So, so many people develop tennis elbow and have a really hard time getting rid of it because of their late forehand contact point. It just puts so much pressure on the elbow.
If you have late contact point you really need to fix that ASAP. Not just for your game, but for your health and safety.
Watch this video to fix your forehand contact point.
