Continental Grip: Versatile and ideal for both forehand and backhand shots.
Eastern Grip: Offers a neutral position, balancing control and power.
Semi Western Grip: Lets us get good spin and utilize our wrist to great spin and power
Western Grip: Great for generating topspin, especially on forehand shots.
Pro Tips:
⭐ Find the grip that feels most natural to you this is the most important as there is not one right grip
⭐The close to western you get makes your forehand more aggressive but also easier to make errors and requires more wrist
⭐The close to continental you get the easier it is to be consistent, the forehand will not have the same aggression however
Remember, the right grip can make all the difference between a good shot and a great one. Experiment with these grips during your practice sessions to find what works best for you.
