Sam entered the sport with a promise of “Top 10” and while he didn’t quite get there, he gave the sport his heart, his humor, and plenty of unforgettable moments.
His exit also means the curtain closes on the Sam Querrey–Wesley “Sweeps” Burrows partnership — a duo that never took themselves too seriously but still managed to entertain every time they stepped on court.
