In Group 2, the weekend’s biggest storyline was Palm Beach signing Casey Diamond mid-event with Dekel Bar injured and Grayson Golden reportedly “sick,” prompting accusations of gamesmanship; Palm Beach upset Columbus behind a SportsCenter-worthy Casey shot, but St. Louis Shock later swept Columbus to win the group and went on to sweep LA in the final. I cover the 5th-place match (Slice vs. Sliders), Palm Beach taking third over Brooklyn, updated standings, gear notes, and the Alex Chuang trade from Phoenix to Dallas.
