I bought a $150 radar gun and tested Gabe’s serve speed by recording 10 serves, which averaged 46.2 mph. Then I coached him on a few adjustments: keeping a bent elbow in the prep, raising the toss and contact point toward the upper thigh, switching from a “bowling ball” motion to a more sidearm/forehand-style swing while staying legal, and staying grounded by loading the back leg instead of popping up on the toes. Stay till the end to see how much faster Gabe's serve got!
