On our drive down to Daytona Florida, we stopped in Arlington Virginia and met with Taylor Garcia. Taylor stepped off the D1 college tennis court and directly onto the professional pickleball tour, earning the #15 spot in women’s singles on the PPA tour in 2023. Taylor shared with us stories of her exciting experience as a professional pickleball player as well as insight into the not-so-glamorous side of the professional tour. We especially enjoyed hearing how Taylor has been able to make a difference through pickleball; she recently traveled through the Middle East to entertain United States military troops with pickleball exhibitions and instruction.
